    Decongestant - nasal spray

    V R Nasal Usage: this drug promotes nasal drainage and relieves nasal stuffiness. this is used to relieve symptoms associated with cold, hay fever, allergies, sinus infections & other related conditions. Its also used to relieve plugged ears.

    How to use V R Nasal: it pill is used in the nose as directed. To apply nasal spray, 1st blow your nose to help improve penetration of the drug. Keeping youre head upright, place nasal spray just inside the nostril being careful not to touch container to inside of the nose. Squeeze container as you inhale deeply through youre nose. Sniff hard a few times to be sure medication reaches deep in to nose. do not use this more many times then directed or increase some your dose. Therapy usually lasts for 3 to 5 days. Excessive use of it med can actually increase nasal congestion.

    V R Nasal side effects: Stinging, burning, sneezing, increased nasal discharge, drying of nostrils, & altered taste may occur. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre doctor. Notify youre doctor if you develop: rapid or pounding heartbeat, dizziness, trouble sleeping, shaking of hands, tremors, unusual weakness. this medication may cause dizziness. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

    V R Nasal Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional if you have: heart problems, thyroid disease, diabetes, hypertension, seizure disorder, glaucoma, allergies (especially to sulfites). elderly & kid may be more susceptible to effects of it med. Use this with caution. this med must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your physician. since small amounts of this med are found in breast milk, consult some your physician before breast-feeding.

    V R Nasal drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take especially of: high blood pressure medications, antidepressants, cough-and-cold or allergy meds. don't start or stop any medicine with out healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

    V R Nasal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, unconsciousness, sweating, dizziness, headache, or unusually quick heartbeat.

    V R Nasal special notes: there are various nasal decongestants available, many without prescription. Discuss with youre doctor or pharmacist best product for you.

    If you missed V R Nasal dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near time since the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    V R Nasal Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. don't store in bathroom. do not share container with anyone else. Throw away the container when the med is no longer required.
