Histuss HC Usage: Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control a cough. antihistamine is for relief from sneezing, runny nose, water eyes. this combination product is used to treat symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, hay fever & another respiratory illnesses.

How to use Histuss HC: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more many times than directed. it medication is best taken with a full glass of water after a meal or snack.

Histuss HC side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, stomach upset or dry mouth may occur first several days as your body adjusts to tablet. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake about alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify you're physician if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations, breathing trouble. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

Histuss HC Precautions: Tell youre doctor if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, a history of drug dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this pill causes you to feel drowsy. USD it product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if this contains PPA or if you are uncertain it product has PPA. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. since small amounts of it medication found in breast milk, consult some your doctor before breast-feeding.

Histuss HC drug interactions: Tell youre physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), cimetidine, narcotic pain pill (e.g., codeine). Limit your intake of alcoholic beverages while taking it drug. don't start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Histuss HC Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, headache, dizziness, weakness, profuse sweating, slow or fast heartbeat, slow or shallow breathing, hyperactivity, fever, seizures, or unconsciousness.

Histuss HC special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.

If you missed Histuss HC dose: If you miss a dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near the time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Histuss HC Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in bathroom.
