Msir Usage: this medication is used to relieve moderate to severe pain.
How to use Msir: To prevent upset stomach, take with food or milk. Pain medications work best in preventing pain before this occurs. one time pain becomes intense, medication is not as effective in relieving it. Take this as prescribed. do not increase some your dose, take this more frequently or use this for longer period of time without your doctor's approval. Also, if used for a long period about time at high doses, do not suddenly stop taking this without 1'st consulting you're healthcare professional. When used for extended periods, it medication may not work as well & may require different dosing. Consult youre pharmacist if the drug isnot relieving pain sufficiently.
Msir side effects: can cause constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, stomach upset, nausea, and flushing the 1st some days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these symptoms persist or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. To minimize constipation, increase your intake about fiber, drink plenty of water, & exercise. Stool softeners may be helpful. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about stool softeners & laxatives. Notify your doctor if you develop: irregular heartbeat, anxiety, tremors, seizures. at the unlikely episode you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek medical attention immediately. Symptoms about an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.
Msir Precautions: Tell your doctor if you are allergic to any other narcotic pain medicine or have had substance abuse problems. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. Alcoholic beverages or other sedatives may add to the effects of this medication causing dizziness or drowsiness. Ask youre pharmacist or pharmacist about the use of alcohol. Caution is advised when using this drug in the elderly because they may be more sensitive to the effects of med. this medication should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with youre doctor. this med is excreted into breast milk & may affect infant. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Msir drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of every prescription & nonprescription drugs you may be using especially: MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), psychiatric tablets, tranquilizers, sleep medications, zidovudine, rifampin, other narcotic pain relievers, barbiturates, cimetidine, anti-seizure pills, antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine), alcohol. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Msir Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slow or shallow breathing, slow heart rate, small pupils, severe drowsiness, or unconsciousness.
Msir special notes: do not share this medication with others. It's against law.
If you missed Msir dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time since the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Msir Storage: Store at room temperature away from light and moisture. don't store in the bathroom.
