    Guaifenesin with pseudoephedrine - oral capsule, tablet

    (gweye-fen-eh-sin with sue-doh-eff-ed-rin)

    common brand names: Deco-D, Duratuss, Maxifed, Sudal, Venbid, Zephrex

    Conpec L Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination tablet is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

    How to use Conpec L a: Take this drug by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew the med. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take it medication as directed. do not increase dose or take it more often or longer then prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.

    Conpec L side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the 1'st some days as your body adjusts to med. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre doctor. Notify you're healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this medication can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

    Conpec L a Precautions: Tell youre pharmacist if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist. it is not known if this drug appears at breast milk; consult your physician before breast-feeding.

    Conpec L a pill interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, med for depression, drug for high blood pressure. Tell your physician if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

    Conpec L a Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.

    Conpec L special notes: do not share it product with others.

    If you missed Conpec L dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost clock for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Conpec L Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
