Q Tussin Pe Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Decongestants (e.g., pseudoephedrine) help relieve nasal congestion. it combination pill is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

How to use Q Tussin Pe: Take it drug by mouth as directed. do not increase dose or take it more much of of times or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.

Q Tussin Pe side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness or headache may occur the 1st several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Q Tussin Pe Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: heart problems, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating or an enlarged prostate, seizures, allergies (especially drug allergies). Because this tablet can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate it effect. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. It's not known if this drug appears in breast milk; consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Q Tussin Pe medication interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take, including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, hypertension drugs. Tell your doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) in last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Q Tussin Pe Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.

If you missed Q Tussin Pe dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Q Tussin Pe Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and sunlight. don't store in the bathroom.
