Tussadur HD Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosen mucus. decongestant relieves nasal stuffiness. low-dose narcotic antitussive helps control a cough. this combination drug is used to treat a cough and relieve symptoms associated with common colds, allergies, and other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Tussadur HD: this medication is best taken with, or after, a meal or snack. Take it medication as prescribed. do not increase youre dose or take it more often than directed.
Tussadur HD side effects: Dizziness, drowsiness, headache, loss about appetite, nausea or anxiety may occur the first some days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To avoid dizziness and lightheadedness when rising from seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify youre physician if you develop: chest pain, a rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, painful or difficult urination, tremors, nervousness, trouble sleeping, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or doctor.
Tussadur HD Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: kidney problems, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, an overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, history about drug dependency, any allergies. Use caution performing tasks requiring alertness if this drug causes you to feel drowsy. cash it product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your healthcare professional promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. this product should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Tussadur HD Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include slow or shallow breathing, slow heart rate, small pupils, severe drowsiness, or unconsciousness.
Tussadur HD special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking this med. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Tussadur HD dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take this if Its near time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Tussadur HD Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
