Stamoist E Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. it combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Stamoist E: Take this medication by mouth. this should be swallowed whole. don't crush or chew drug. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take it med as directed. do not increase the dose or take this more often or longer then prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Stamoist E side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the 1-st several days as you're body adjusts to pill. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because it drug can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.
Stamoist E Precautions: Tell some your pharmacist if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this tablet must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with you're doctor. it isn't known if this drug appears in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Stamoist E drug interactions: Tell your physician about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, tablet for depression, medication for high blood pressure. Tell youre healthcare professional if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last 2 weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine with-out pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Stamoist E Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.
Stamoist E special notes: don't share this product with others.
If you missed Stamoist E dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Stamoist E Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 and 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom.
