    Hexachlorophene - cleanser

    (hex-uh-klor-oh-feen)

    common brand names: Phisohex, Septisol

    Septisol Usage: this pill is a skin cleanser that kills bacteria. it is used to help prevent passing germs to others.

    How to use Septisol: it medication is for use on the skin only. Use it as directed to clean the hands or affected area. Use carefully if applying to face. Avoid contact in or around the eyes. Rinse thoroughly after washing, especially if washing scrotal, vaginal or anal areas. for best results, use this as directed. do not use it more much times or use more than necessary.

    Septisol side effects: Notify youre physician if the next effects occur: redness, irritation. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.

    Septisol Precautions: do not use on burned or abraded skin or on mucous membranes (eyes, inside nose, mouth). Tell your doctor if you have any pre-existing conditions, such as: illness, infections, allergies (especially to antibiotics). As with any drug, this should be used with caution during pregnancy or if breast-feeding. Discuss risks & benefits with you're pharmacist.

    Septisol medication interactions: Tell you're physician of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: skin products. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Septisol Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. If this medicine is accidentally taken by mouth, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of ingestion may include loss about appetite, vomiting, stomach cramps, diarrhea, seizures, and cold, clammy skin.

    Septisol special notes: this drug is available in different forms, such as a liquid, foam, or sponge. Discuss with youre doctor or pharmacist best product for your use.

    If you missed Septisol dose: If you miss an application, use it as soon as you remember. do not use more of this in an effort to catch-up.

    Septisol Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat. Keep out of reach about children.
