Pseudoeph W Guaifenesin Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Pseudoeph W Guaifenesin: Take this medication by mouth. this must be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this med as directed. do not increase dose or take this more often or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Pseudoeph W Guaifenesin side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur first some days as some your body adjusts to the med. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.
Pseudoeph W Guaifenesin Precautions: Tell some your doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with you're doctor. Its not known if this medication appears at breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Pseudoeph W Guaifenesin med interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, drug for HBP. Tell your pharmacist if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in the last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or doctor approval.
Pseudoeph W Guaifenesin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.

If you missed Pseudoeph W Guaifenesin dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Pseudoeph W Guaifenesin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store at the bathroom.
