Corticosteroids - topical
Hytone Usage: this drug is used to treat swelling, inflammation, or itching of skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect bites, poison ivy, allergies & other irritations.
How to use Hytone: Clean & dry affected area before applying the tablet. To apply, gently massage small amount of the pill in to affected area & surrounding skin. do not bandage, wrap or cover region treated unless you are instructed to do so by your doctor. do not use plastic pants or tight fitting diapers on children being treated with it drug in the diaper area. Avoid using it drug around eyes unless directed to do so by youre healthcare professional.
Hytone side effects: this med may cause burning, stinging, itching, or redness when 1'st applied to skin. this should disappear at a few days as your body adjusts to the drug. it tablet may also cause skin thinning & discoloration. If any of these effects persist or worsen, inform your doctor. Skin infections can become worse when using it tablet. Notify your doctor if redness, swelling or irritation does not improve. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly next side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or healthcare professional.
Hytone Precautions: don't use this pill near the eyes if you have glaucoma. Treatment with clobetasol, halobetasol propionate & augmented betamethasone dipropionate beyond two weeks consecutively isn't recommended. do not use if their is an infection or sores present on the area to be treated. Though very unlikely, It's possible this tablet will be absorbed in to you're bloodstream. it may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true for child & for those who have used it for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies for up to one year after stopping use of it drug. Consult some your doctor or healthcare professional for more details. this tablet should be used cautiously during pregnancy and only if clearly needed. Discuss benefits & risks with your physician. Small amounts of this medication may appear in breast milk. Consult with your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Hytone drug interactions: Tell you're doctor about every medications you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially of: prednisone (or similar drugs), other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Hytone Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Hytone special notes: Inform all your pharmacists you use (or have used) it medication. do not share this med with others.
If you missed Hytone dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use if it is almost clock for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Hytone Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
