Debrox Usage: it medication is used to treat earwax buildup by softening, loosening, and removing earwax.
How to use Debrox: Apply it medication in to ear, usually twice daily, or as directed by your pharmacist. do not use this medication for more than 4 days. for accuracy & to avoid contamination, have another person insert the drops if possible. To apply ear drops, wash youre hands first. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch youre ear or any other surface. Lie on some your side or tilt the affected ear upward. Place the dropper directly over ear & instill recommended, or prescribed amount about drops. To help the drops roll into ear (for adults) hold earlobe up and back or (for children) hold earlobe down & back. Keep the head tilted for about two minutes or insert a soft cotton plug if so directed. If there is any wax remaining after treatment this may be removed by gently rinsing ear with warm water or using a soft rubber bulb ear syringe. Consult your pharmacist or healthcare professional about the safe use of an ear syringe. don't rinse the dropper. Replace the dropper cap after use.
Debrox side effects: Ear drainage, ear pain, irritation or rash in ear, or dizziness may occur. If any about these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor. this medication can cause crackling sound in ears. this harmless effect is temporary & due to medicine foaming and loosening earwax. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre pharmacist or pharmacist.
Debrox Precautions: Tell your physician your medical history, including: allergies, other ear problems (e.g., perforated or 'broken eardrum', ear infections/injuries/surgeries). Tell your doctor if you are pregnant before using this drug. Its unknown if this drug passes into breast milk. Consult your physician before breast-feeding.
Debrox drug interactions: Tell your physician of all prescription & nonprescription med you may use, especially of: other ear medications. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Debrox Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Debrox special notes: do not share this medication with others.
If you missed Debrox dose: If you miss dose, use this as soon as you remember. If it is near clock of next dose, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
Debrox Storage: Store at room temperature between 36 & 86 degrees F (2 to 30 degrees C) away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
