Carter's small amount pills Usage: this medication is used to treat constipation or to clean out intestinal tract before bowel examinations or bowel surgery.
How to use Carter's small amount pills: Swallow tablets whole with full glass of water or juice. do not crush or chew tablets. tablets must work within 6 to 10 hours. do not take meds within one hour of taking any milk or dairy products. Severe stomach cramps & vomiting may occur. Bisacodyl shouldn't be used longer than seven days without consulting your doctor. Prolonged use can lead to laxative dependence. Because this drug must be swallowed whole, do not give it to a children less than 6 years of age.
Carter's very small amount pills side effects: this pill may cause stomach ache, cramping, weakness, sweating, irritation of the rectal area, diarrhea, or dizziness. Notify your physician if you experience: chest pain, fainting, rectal bleeding, lack of bowel movement (especially after using this medicine). If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Carter's little tablets Precautions: If you have any of next conditions, do not take bisacodyl without consulting your pharmacist: severe nausea, vomiting, stomach/intestinal problems, recent abdominal surgery, rectal bleeding, vitamin/mineral deficiencies, appendicitis, gastritis, an allergic reaction to this medication. Frequent use of laxatives can cause dehydration & loss of essential nutrients. Symptoms can include muscle cramps, muscle weakness or dizziness. Maintain adequate fluid intake while using it medication. Before using bisacodyl, tell you're healthcare professional if you are pregnant. it isn't known if bisacodyl is excreted in to breast milk. Consult you're doctor.
Carter's very small amount tablets drug interactions: Tell your physician of every prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially about: potassium supplements, antacids, acid blockers (e.g., cimetidine, famotidine, ranitidine), another laxatives. do not start or stop any medicine with out doctor or pharmacist approval.
Carter's little pills Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include persistent diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, loss about appetite, muscle cramps, severe weakness, extreme thirst, or dry mouth.
Carter's very small amount tablets special notes: To help prevent constipation, drink four to 6 glasses of water daily, eat dietary fiber and/or leafy substances & exercise regularly.
If you missed Carter's little bit pills dose: If you miss dose, skip missed dose. do not double dose.
Carter's very small amount pills Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. don't store in the bathroom.
