Antihistamines with decongestants - oral
Tanamine Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
How to use Tanamine: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking it tablet, unless youre doctor instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, notify you're physician. don't increase dose or take this more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form should be shaken well before each use.
Tanamine side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly and be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.
Tanamine Precautions: Tell your doctor some your medical history, especially about: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain it product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this med must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding. do not give this drug to a children younger than six years about age unless directed to do so by a doctor.
Tanamine drug interactions: Tell youre healthcare professional what medications you take, especially of: HBP drugs, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain medication, other cold or allergy med. do not take it drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or physician approval.
Tanamine Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose at adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Tanamine special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Tanamine dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Tanamine Storage: Store in room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
