Sen O Tab Usage: Irritant or stimulant laxatives used to treat constipation & to clear intestine before rectal or bowel examinations.
How to use Sen O Tab: Take each dose with a full glass of water or juice & drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Chewable tablets are to be chewed thoroughly. meds are to be swallowed whole with full glass about water. Wafers are to be chewed. Laxatives should not be used in persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.
Sen O Tab side effects: this med can cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your physician. Notify your pharmacist if you experience: rectal bleeding, rapid heart rate, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, unrelieved constipation. this medication can cause urine to turn pink, red or brownish at color. don't be alarmed. this is not harmful. Prolonged, frequent or excessive use of laxatives may lead to dependency. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Sen O Tab Precautions: Tell your doctor you're medical history, especially of: kidney disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, swelling (edema), any allergies (especially to tartrazine). Castor oil is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Bulk producing laxatives are an alternative. Discuss the risks & benefits with youre doctor. Consult your healthcare professional before using any pill while breast-feeding.
Sen O Tab tablet interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with absorption of some drugs, It's important to tell your doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. Avoid the use of dairy products or antacids within one hour of taking bisacodyl tablets. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or healthcare professional approval.
Sen O Tab Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack of feeling alert, or dry gums & eyes.
Sen O Tab special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, It's important to drink plenty about fluids (4 to 6 eight ounce glasses day), increase your intake about fiber and roughage and exercise regularly.
If you missed Sen O Tab dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
