V R Ibuprofen Usage: Ibuprofen is nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medication (NSAID), which relieves pain & swelling (inflammation). it is used to treat headaches, muscle aches, backaches, dental pain, menstrual cramps, arthritis, or athletic injuries. this drug is also used to reduce fever & to relieve minor aches & pain due to common cold or flu. it medication works by blocking the enzyme in you're body that makes prostaglandins. Decreasing prostaglandins helps to reduce pain, swelling, & fever. do not give this medication to kid younger than 2 years of age unless directed to do so by the pharmacist.
How to use V R Ibuprofen: Shake bottle well before each dose. Measure out each dose carefully and take this medication by mouth with full glass (8 oz or 240 ml) about water unless your doctor directs you otherwise. do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this medication. If stomach upset occurs while taking this medication, take it with food, milk, or an antacid. dosage is based on you're medical condition and response to therapy. at kid, the dosage is also based on weight. Read the product instructions to find appropriate dose for your child's weight, or consult pharmacist or healthcare professional if you have questions. If repeat doses are needed, they are usually given 6 or 8 hours apart; or as directed by the doctor. at certain conditions (e.g., arthritis), it may take up to 2 weeks, taken regularly, before full benefits about it medication take effect. If you use this pill since migraine headache, and the pain is not relieved or worsens after the first dose, tell your healthcare professional immediately. If you are treating yourself or giving it medication to child since undiagnosed fever or pain, consult pharmacist immediately if symptoms do not improve within 24 hours, worsen or last for more than 3 days, or if new symptoms appear.
V R Ibuprofen side effects: Upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, heartburn, headache, diarrhea, constipation, drowsiness, & dizziness may occur. If any about these effects persist or worsen, notify youre physician or pharmacist promptly. Tell your pharmacist immediately if any about these serious side effects occur: stomach pain, swelling of the hands or feet, sudden or unexplained weight gain, ringing in the ears (tinnitus). Tell youre physician immediately if any about these unlikely but serious side effects occur: vision changes, rapid or pounding heartbeat, easy bruising or bleeding. Tell your doctor immediately if any of these highly unlikely but very serious side effects occur: change in amount of urine, severe headache, very stiff neck, mental/mood changes, persistent sore throat or fever. it drug may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from stomach or intestines. If you notice any of the following unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking ibuprofen and consult your doctor or pharmacist immediately: black stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds. this medication may sometimes cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. If you notice any of following highly unlikely but very serious side effects, stop taking ibuprofen and consult youre pharmacist or healthcare professional immediately: yellowing eyes & skin, dark urine, unusual/extreme tiredness. An allergic reaction to it medication is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or physician.
V R Ibuprofen Precautions: this medication shouldn't be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before using this medicine, consult your doctor or physician if you have: severe kidney disease, allergies to aspirin or other NSAIDs (e.g., naproxen, celecoxib). Before using this medication, tell your doctor or physician your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, liver disease, poorly controlled diabetes, stomach problems (e.g., bleeding, ulcers), heart disease (e.g., congestive heart failure), high blood pressure, swelling (edema, fluid retention), dehydration, blood disorders (e.g., anemia), bleeding or clotting problems, asthma, growths in nose (nasal polyps), history of an allergic reaction with symptoms of lip/tongue/throat swelling (angioedema), any allergies in addition to those listed above. this medication may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. it medicine can cause stomach bleeding. daily use of alcohol & tobacco, especially when combined with this medicine, may increase your risk for stomach bleeding. Consult your healthcare professional or healthcare professional for more information. it drug may make you more sensitive to the sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure, tanning booths or sunlamps. Use sunscreen and wear protective clothing when outdoors. this product may contain sugar. Caution is advised if you have diabetes. Ask your doctor or physician about safe use of this product. Caution is advised when using this pill at the elderly because they may be more sensitive to the side effects about the drug, especially stomach bleeding & kidney effects. this drug should be used only when clearly needed during 1st 6 months of pregnancy. it is not recommended since use during the last 3 months of pregnancy due to potential since serious fetal harm & interference with normal labor/delivery. Discuss the risks & benefits with your pharmacist. this tablet passes into breast milk. While they're have been no reports of harm to nursing infants, consult some your physician before breast-feeding.
V R Ibuprofen medication interactions: Before using it medication, tell your pharmacist or pharmacist of every prescription & nonprescription products you may use, especially of: alendronate, another drugs since arthritis (e.g., aspirin, methotrexate), 'blood thinners' (e.g., warfarin), corticosteroids (e.g., prednisone), cyclosporine, high blood pressure drugs (including ACE inhibitors such as captopril, angiotensin II receptor antagonists such as losartan, & beta-blockers such as metoprolol), lithium, other NSAIDs (e.g., naproxen, celecoxib), 'water pills' (diuretics such as furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, triamterene). money every prescription & nonprescription medicine labels carefully since many contain pain relievers/fever reducers (NSAIDs such as aspirin or naproxen) which are similar to it drug. If you also taking aspirin, as prescribed by your healthcare professional for reasons such as heart attack or stroke prevention (usually these dosages 81-325 mg per day), continue to take the aspirin and consult youre doctor or pharmacist before using ibuprofen. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or healthcare professional approval.
V R Ibuprofen Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: severe stomach pain, coffee ground-like vomit, unusually quick or slow heartbeat, trouble breathing, extreme drowsiness, loss about consciousness, or seizures.

If you missed V R Ibuprofen dose: If you are prescribed this drug on regular schedule (not just 'as needed') & you miss a dose, use this as soon as you remember. If It's near clock of next dose, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.
