Tanafed Dp Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms about allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Tanafed Dp: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking it medication, unless your physician instructs you otherwise. If symptoms don't improve after 7 days or accompanied by high fever, notify your doctor. do not increase the dose or take it more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Tanafed Dp side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify you're physician if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing at ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your doctor or healthcare professional.
Tanafed Dp Precautions: Tell your doctor youre medical history, especially about: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, HBP, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. dollars this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your physician promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult some your doctor before breast-feeding. do not give this medication to children younger than 6 years of age unless directed to do so by pharmacist.
Tanafed Dp drug interactions: Tell your doctor what medications you take, especially of: hypertension drugs, anti-seizure meds, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain med, other cold or allergy medication. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last 2 weeks. do not start or stop any medicine with out pharmacist or healthcare professional approval.
Tanafed Dp Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change at amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Tanafed Dp dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume youre usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Tanafed Dp Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
