    Guaifenesin - oral

    Simular Drugs : Hm Tussin, Hm Tussin Cf, Hm Tussin Cough, Hm Tussin Cough & Cold, Hm Tussin DM, Hm Tussin Dm Clear

    Hm Tussin Usage: this med is used to relieve dry cough and helps to loosen phlegm and mucous in lungs so you can 'cough-up' (expectorate) mucous.

    How to use Hm Tussin: Take each dose of this medication with full glass of water. Water will also help break-up mucous & clear congestion. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this tablet, unless you're physician instructs you otherwise. do not take it medication since a chronic, persistent cough such as occurs with smoking or asthma unless directed by you're doctor. If cough lasts for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, headache or rash, consult your healthcare professional.

    Hm Tussin side effects: this medication can cause stomach upset or rash. If these effects persist or worsen, inform your pharmacist. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact you're pharmacist or physician.

    Hm Tussin Precautions: If you have any about following health problems, consult your pharmacist before using this medication: breathing problems such as emphysema/chronic bronchitis/asthma, smoking, any allergies. this medication must be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with you're physician. this is not known if this tablet is excreted into breast milk. Consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

    Hm Tussin drug interactions: Tell youre doctor of all medicines you may use, (both prescription & nonprescription), especially: another cough-and-cold medicines. Guaifenesin may affect the results of certain lab tests. Be sure your caregivers are aware you use this medicine before lab tests are performed. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Hm Tussin Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, fatigue, weakness, dizziness, & unusually slow heartbeat.

    Hm Tussin special notes: it medication comes in a variety about dose forms such as tablets, capsules, long acting meds or capsules & a syrup. Ask your healthcare professional or pharmacist to recommend best product for you.

    If you missed Hm Tussin dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time since next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double the dose to catch up.

    Hm Tussin Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom. do not freeze liquid forms of this medication. do not store syrup in refrigerator.
