Benzoyl peroxide - topical

Loroxide Usage: Benzoyl peroxide is used to treat mild to moderate acne.
How to use Loroxide: it tablet is for topical use on affected area only. Avoid using this in the eyes, mouth and nose, & on inflamed or damaged skin. the liquid wash or bar soap is used instead of soap once or 2 times day. Wet the skin before applying this. Gently work up a lather & rinse thoroughly. do not scrub skin. Creams, lotions or gels usually applied once or twice day to affected area. a small amount is applied to the affected area & rubbed at gently. Pads: Wash the affected region of skin with mild cleanser and water than dry this. following apply the pad, usually once or twice a day to skin as directed.
Loroxide side effects: Slight stinging, dryness and peeling may occur initially. Expect this. However, notify your doctor if the following effects occur: redness, irritation, scaly eruptions, rash. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Loroxide Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially: other skin problems, any allergies. this medication may bleach hair & colored clothing. Avoid contact. Safe use about benzoyl peroxide in kid under 12 years old has not been established. Benzoyl peroxide should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with youre healthcare professional. It's not known if this drug is excreted into breast milk. Though there have no reports (to date) of harm to nursing infants, consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Loroxide drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of all medicines you may use, both prescription & nonprescription, especially: other skin medicines. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Loroxide Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Loroxide special notes: this tablet is available in many forms such as lotion, cream, gel or cleanser & in various strengths (2.5% to 10%). several can be purchased without prescription. Discuss the various goods with your pharmacist or pharmacist to determine best one since you.
If you missed Loroxide dose: Use missed dose as soon as you remember and resume your regular dosing schedule.
Loroxide Storage: Store between 59 & 76 degrees F (15 and 24.4 degrees C) away from moisture and sunlight.
