Tusnel Pediatric Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Decongestants (e.g., pseudoephedrine) help relieve nasal congestion. this combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Tusnel Pediatric: Take this med by mouth as directed. do not increase dose or take this more often or longer than prescribed. Its recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Tusnel Pediatric side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness or headache may occur 1st several days as your body adjusts to tablet. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're pharmacist. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your healthcare professional or pharmacist.
Tusnel Pediatric Precautions: Tell you're doctor if you have: heart problems, liver disease, kidney disease, lung disease, emphysema, hypertension, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating or an enlarged prostate, seizures, allergies (especially pill allergies). Because it medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. this medication must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. it isn't known if this med appears in breast milk; consult youre doctor before breast-feeding.
Tusnel Pediatric drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist about any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take, including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, pill for depression, high blood pressure drugs. Tell your pharmacist if you have taken any MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) at the last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or doctor approval.
Tusnel Pediatric Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.
Tusnel Pediatric special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Tusnel Pediatric dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if this is almost clock for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Tusnel Pediatric Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from heat & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
