Senokot S Usage: it drug is used for the short-term treatment of constipation.

How to use Senokot S: Take each dose with full glass of water or juice & drink plenty about fluids while taking this medication. Laxatives shouldn't be used in persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.

Senokot S side effects: this medication may cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. it med may cause urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. do not be alarmed. it isnt harmful. Notify you're healthcare professional if you develop: rectal bleeding, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, persistent constipation. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or physician.

Senokot S Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: kidney disease, heart disease, HBP, edema, allergies (especially to tartrazine). Prolonged, frequent or excessive use about laxatives may lead to dependency. this drug should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Discuss the risks and benefits with youre pharmacist. Consult your healthcare professional before using any drug while breast-feeding.

Senokot S medication interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with absorption about several medications, It's important to tell you're doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or doctor approval.

Senokot S Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack of feeling alert, or dry gums & eyes.

Senokot S special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, it is important to drink plenty of fluids (4 to six eight ounce glasses a day), increase your intake of fiber & roughage & exercise regularly.

If you missed Senokot S dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Senokot S Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & moisture. do not store in bathroom.
