Docucal 240 Usage: this drug helps fluids to mix with stool to keep them from becoming hard or dry. It's used to treat constipation.

How to use Docucal 240: Swallow capsules & tablets whole with full glass of water or juice. liquid and syrup forms must be given in six to 8 ounces about milk or juice to prevent throat irritation. Relief is usually obtained at 1 to 3 days after first dose.

Docucal 240 side effects: this medication may cause stomach ache, cramping or irritated throat (liquid & syrup forms). If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre pharmacist. Notify your doctor if you experience: skin rash, rectal bleeding, lack about bowel movements. Frequent use about laxatives may cause dehydration & loss of essential nutrients. Symptoms include muscle cramps, muscle weakness or dizziness. Maintain an adequate fluid intake while using it drug. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre healthcare professional or physician.

Docucal 240 Precautions: do not take aspirin (unless prescribed by you're doctor) or mineral oil while taking stool softeners. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, do not take over-the-counter stool softeners (or any other nonprescription medication) without obtaining your doctor's advice.

Docucal 240 drug interactions: it drug isnt recommended for use with mineral oil. Ask you're doctor or pharmacist for more details. Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription medication you may use, especially aspirin.

Docucal 240 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Docucal 240 special notes: Laxatives should only be used temporarily until normal bowel habits return. Prolonged use can lead to laxative dependence. To prevent constipation: drink 4 to 6 glasses of water daily, include bulk or roughage at youre diet, and exercise regularly.

If you missed Docucal 240 dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Docucal 240 Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
