Dilor Usage: this med improves breathing by opening air passages in the lungs. It's used in treatment of asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema.
How to use Dilor: this med works best when taken on an empty stomach one hour before or two hours after meals. If stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food. this tablet works best if constant level is maintained in body. Do this by taking doses at evenly spaced intervals.
Dilor side effects: Dizziness, headache, lightheadedness, heartburn, stomach pain, loss about appetite, restlessness, nervousness, sleeplessness or increased urination may occur as your body adjusts to medication. If these symptoms persist or worsen, inform your physician. Inform your doctor if you experience: chest pain, rapid or irregular heartbeat, confusion, severe stomach pain, breathing difficulties. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Dilor Precautions: Tell some your healthcare professional your medical history, especially of: heart disease, kidney problems, stomach or intestinal problems, any allergies you may have. it drug should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your pharmacist. Dyphylline is excreted into breast milk. Though their have been no reports (to date) of harm to nursing infants, consult youre pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Dilor drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of all pills you use (both prescription & nonprescription) especially of: mexiletine, probenecid, halothane (an anesthetic), dipyridamole, beta-blockers (e.g., atenolol, propranolol), other drugs used for breathing problems. Avoid drinking big amounts about beverages containing caffeine (coffee, tea, colas) or eating big amounts about chocolate. Caffeine can increase side effects of this drug. don't change your diet with out first checking with your physician. do not start or stop any medicine with out healthcare professional or doctor approval.
Dilor Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include fast or irregular heartbeat, nausea or vomiting, unusual nervousness or restlessness, agitation, irritability, headache, and seizures.
Dilor special notes: do not share it drug with others.
If you missed Dilor dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Dilor Storage: Store at room temperature away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in the bathroom. don't freeze liquid forms of this drug.
