Histex Sr Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.

How to use Histex Sr: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless your doctor instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, notify your doctor. don't increase the dose or take it more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form should be shaken well before each use.

Histex Sr side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth and nose. These effects should subside as youre body adjusts to the medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform youre doctor. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly and be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your doctor or physician.

Histex Sr Precautions: Tell youre doctor some your medical history, especially about: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. dollars this product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Histex Sr drug interactions: Tell youre doctor what drugs you take, especially of: high blood pressure drugs, anti-seizure pills, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy pill. do not take this pill if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or physician approval.

Histex Sr Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in child may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount about urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms about overdose at adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Histex Sr dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Histex Sr Storage: Store in room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
