    Guaifenesin with pseudoephedrine - oral capsule, tablet

    (gweye-fen-eh-sin with sue-doh-eff-ed-rin)

    common brand names: Deco-D, Duratuss, Maxifed, Sudal, Venbid, Zephrex

    Congess JR Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

    How to use Congess JR: Take this med by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. don't crush or chew drug. If stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food or milk. Take it medication as directed. do not increase the dose or take this more often or longer than prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.

    Congess JR side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss about appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur 1-st some days as youre body adjusts to medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify you're physician if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because it medication can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or doctor.

    Congess JR Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. it pill should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with your healthcare professional. It's not known if this drug appears in breast milk; consult some your doctor before breast-feeding.

    Congess JR drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, tablet since depression, tablet for HBP. Tell your doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors at last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Congess JR Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, quick or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.

    Congess JR special notes: do not share this product with others.

    If you missed Congess JR dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost clock for the following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Congess JR Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store at the bathroom.
