Meni D Usage: it medication is used to prevent or treat nausea, vomiting and dizziness caused by motion sickness or middle ear infections.
How to use Meni D: for motion sickness, take 1st dose 30 minutes before traveling. since other conditions, take exactly as directed by youre doctor. Chewable pills must be chewed thoroughly before swallowing.
Meni D side effects: can cause drowsiness, blurred vision, stomach upset, headache or dry mouth. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to the medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. for it med can cause drowsiness, use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact you're physician or pharmacist.
Meni D Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially about: glaucoma, prostate problems, urinary problems, asthma, any allergies you have. Alcohol may intensify drowsiness effect of this medication. Limit alcohol intake & use caution performing tasks that require alertness such as driving and operating machinery. do not give meclizine to child under 12 years of age without a doctor's permission. Before using this tablet, inform your healthcare professional if you are pregnant. it is not known if this medication is excreted into breast milk. Consult some your physician before breast-feeding.
Meni D drug interactions: Tell your doctor of all prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of drugs that have drowsiness effect such as: tablets since cough/colds and allergies, medications used since sleep, anti-seizure drugs, narcotic pain drugs (e.g., codeine), barbiturates (e.g., phenobarbital), tranquilizers. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Meni D Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unusual excitability, drowsiness, hallucinations, very slow or shallow breathing, & seizures.
Meni D special notes: don't share this pill with others.
If you missed Meni D dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if It's almost time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Meni D Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
