Tana T 12 Usage: this combination cough suppressant/antihistamine medication is used to treat cough due to common cold, asthma, or bronchitis.
How to use Tana T 12: Take it med by mouth usually twice daily as needed; or as directed by your doctor. Shake the bottle well before each dose. Unless otherwise directed, drink plenty of clear fluids when you use it drug. the fluid will help to loosen phlegm/mucus in your breathing passages.
Tana T 12 side effects: Drowsiness, nausea, & dry mouth and throat may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your physician. An allergic reaction to it medication is unlikely but seek immediate doctor attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Tana T 12 Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: hypertension, heart problems, thyroid problems, glaucoma (narrow angle type), prostate problems, any allergies (especially to tartrazine or aspirin). this medication may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Limit alcoholic beverages. Caution is advised when using this medication in the elderly since they may be more sensitive to medication side effects. this medication should not be used in newborns. this pill should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with you're doctor. this medication may pass into breast milk. Breast-feeding while using this drug is not recommended. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Tana T 12 medication interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of every prescription & nonprescription medication you may use, especially: MAO inhibitors used within the last 2 weeks (e.g., furazolidone, isocarboxazid, linezolid, moclobemide, phenelzine, procarbazine, selegiline, tranylcypromine). Tell you're healthcare professional if you take any drugs that cause drowsiness such as: medicine for sleep, sedatives, tranquilizers, anti- anxiety medications (e.g., diazepam, lorazepam), narcotic pain relievers (e.g., codeine, morphine), psychiatric medicines (e.g., phenothiazines such as chlorpromazine or tricyclic antidepressants such as amitriptyline), anti-seizure drugs (e.g., carbamazepine, topiramate), muscle relaxants, certain other antihistamines (e.g., diphenhydramine). check the labels on all your medicines (e.g., cough-and-cold products) because they may contain drowsiness-causing ingredients. Ask your physician of safe use about these products. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Tana T 12 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include: nausea, vomiting, deep sleep, seizures.
Tana T 12 special notes: do not share this medication with others.
If you missed Tana T 12 dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If It's near the clock of the next dose, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.
Tana T 12 Storage: Store in room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 & 25 degrees C) away from light & moisture.
