Eudal Sr Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.
How to use Eudal Sr: Take this drug by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew the med. If stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food or milk. Take this medication as directed. do not increase the dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.
Eudal Sr side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the 1-st several days as your body adjusts to the tablet. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this drug may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate it effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or pharmacist.
Eudal Sr Precautions: Tell your pharmacist if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. this med must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. this isn't known if this drug appears in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Eudal Sr med interactions: Tell your physician of any over-the-counter or prescription pill you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, med for depression, medication for high blood pressure. Tell your doctor if you have taken any MAO inhibitors in last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Eudal Sr Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, & seizures.
Eudal Sr special notes: do not share it product with others.
If you missed Eudal Sr dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if It's almost time for following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Eudal Sr Storage: Store in room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. do not store in bathroom.
