How to use Chloroquine Phosphate: Take this medication with food to prevent stomach upset. Take this medication exactly as prescribed. do not stop taking this with-out consulting youre physician. It's important to continue taking this for length of time prescribed. Stopping therapy too soon may not treat the infection and can lead to re-infection. While taking this medication, your healthcare professional may schedule lab tests to money your eye sight, hearing & blood.
Chloroquine Phosphate side effects: Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, cramps, loss about appetite, diarrhea, tiredness, weakness or headache may occur first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Tell your healthcare professional immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: blurred vision, trouble seeing at night or problems focusing clearly, ringing in the ears, difficulty hearing. Tell your physician immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: seizures, mental/mood changes. If you missed Chloroquine Phosphate dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; don't take if It's almost time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
