Triactin Cold & Allergy Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms about allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Triactin Cold & Allergy: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking it medication, unless some your healthcare professional instructs you otherwise. If symptoms don't improve after 7 days or are accompanied by a high fever, notify your pharmacist. do not increase the dose or take it more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Triactin Cold & Allergy side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability and dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to pill. If they persist or become bothersome, inform you're pharmacist. Notify your doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. Triactin Cold & Allergy Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially about: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult youre doctor before breast-feeding. do not give this medication to child younger than 6 years of age unless directed to do so by doctor.
Triactin Cold & Allergy drug interactions: Tell you're doctor what drugs you take, especially of: high blood pressure medications, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain tablet, other cold or allergy medication. do not take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last 2 weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.
Triactin Cold & Allergy Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact you're local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in children may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Triactin Cold & Allergy dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if Its almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
