    Antihistamines with decongestants - oral

    Tana R 12 Usage: Antihistamines provide relief about symptoms about allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.

    How to use Tana R 12: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless your physician instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by high fever, notify your doctor. do not increase the dose or take it more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.

    Tana R 12 side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as your body adjusts to tablet. If they persist or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

    Tana R 12 Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult you're pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this medication must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding. do not give this med to child younger than 6 years of age unless directed to do so by a physician.

    Tana R 12 drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist what medications you take, especially of: high blood pressure drugs, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain medication, other cold or allergy drug. don't take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

    Tana R 12 Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in child may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms about overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

    Tana R 12 special notes: do not share it product with others.

    If you missed Tana R 12 dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time since the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume some your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Tana R 12 Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
