    Decongestant - nasal spray

    St Joseph Nasal Usage: this medication promotes nasal drainage and relieves nasal stuffiness. It's used to relieve symptoms associated with cold, hay fever, allergies, sinus infections & other related conditions. Its also used to relieve plugged ears.

    How to use St Joseph Nasal: this drug is used in nose as directed. To apply nasal spray, first blow youre nose to help improve penetration about the med. Keeping your head upright, place the nasal spray just inside the nostril being careful not to touch the container to inside of the nose. Squeeze the container as you inhale deeply through your nose. Sniff hard a few times to be sure drug reaches deep into nose. don't use this more often then directed or increase your dose. Therapy usually lasts for 3 to 5 days. Excessive use of this pill can actually increase nasal congestion.

    St Joseph Nasal side effects: Stinging, burning, sneezing, increased nasal discharge, drying of nostrils, & altered taste may occur. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform some your pharmacist. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: a rapid or pounding heartbeat, dizziness, trouble sleeping, shaking of the hands, tremors, unusual weakness. this med may cause dizziness. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

    St Joseph Nasal Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: heart problems, thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, seizure disorder, glaucoma, allergies (especially to sulfites). elderly & children may be more susceptible to the effects of this drug. Use this with caution. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. for small amounts of this tablet are found in breast milk, consult you're physician before breast-feeding.

    St Joseph Nasal drug interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take especially about: high blood pressure drugs, antidepressants, cough-and-cold or allergy meds. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    St Joseph Nasal Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include drowsiness, unconsciousness, sweating, dizziness, headache, or unusually fast heartbeat.

    St Joseph Nasal special notes: there are various nasal decongestants available, much with-out prescription. Discuss with you're doctor or pharmacist the best product for you.

    If you missed St Joseph Nasal dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; don't take it if it is near the clock for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    St Joseph Nasal Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in the bathroom. do not share the container with anyone else. Throw away container when the drug is no longer required.
