Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take it more much times than directed. this medication is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack. Long-acting tablets and capsules must be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew them or the long action may be destroyed & the chance of side effects increased.

Chlor Mes D side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, blurred vision, constipation or dry mouth, nose & eyes may occur 1st few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, difficulty urinating, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit youre intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. If you missed Chlor Mes D dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take this if Its near the time since following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

Chlor Mes D Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
