    Tobramycin Sulfate Usage: this medication is used to treat infections of the eye (ophthalmic) or ear (otic).

    How to use Tobramycin Sulfate: Use this as prescribed. Continue using this for full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too soon may result in reinfection. To apply eye or ear medication, wash hands 1-st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or tube or let it touch affected area. Shake drops well before using. Hold ointment tube in your hand for some minutes to make medication flow easier. EYE drug: Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down the lower eyelid to make pouch. for drops, place dropper directly over eye and administer the prescribed number of drops. look downward & gently close youre eye for 1 to two minutes. With eye ointment, place drug inside the lower lid using sweeping motion. Close eye & roll the eyeball. Remove excess ointment with a tissue. Try not to blink & do not rub eye. If you using other kind of eye tablet, wait five to ten minutes before applying. EAR med: Lie on your side or turn the affected ear upward to make application easier. Place the prescribed number of drops at the ear. Avoid touching the ear canal. Keep ear tilted since one to two minutes. a small piece about clean cotton may be placed in ear to prevent drops from escaping.

    Tobramycin Sulfate side effects: it med may temporarily sting when first applied. If this effect persists or worsens, inform your doctor promptly. in the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this medication, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, redness, swelling or discharge (including eye or ear area), trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or physician.

    Tobramycin Sulfate Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially: all previous eye or ear problems, if you use contact lenses, any allergies. Vision may be temporarily blurred after applying eye drug. Use caution driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. it & every drugs should be used only when clearly needed during pregnancy or when breast-feeding. Consult with your doctor if you pregnant or breast-feeding.

    Tobramycin Sulfate drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist about all tablets you may use (both prescription & nonprescription), especially of: silver preparations, all other eye or ear antibiotic or corticosteroid (e.g., hydrocortisone) drugs. do not start or stop any medicine with-out healthcare professional or healthcare professional approval.

    Tobramycin Sulfate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Tobramycin Sulfate special notes: Throw away any unused episode of your prescription. do not save this to use since other infection. do not allow anyone else to use this drug. the infection may spread to other people if you accidentally contaminate drug.

    If you missed Tobramycin Sulfate dose: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered; don't use if Its almost time since next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Tobramycin Sulfate Storage: Depending upon the manufacturer, the product may be stored at room temperature or refrigerated. Ask your doctor. do not store in bathroom. do not freeze.
