Dyphylline Gg Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dyphylline acts to widen air passages in lungs to make breathing easier. this combination medication is used to relieve symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & another respiratory illnesses.
How to use Dyphylline Gg: Take this med as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase youre dose or take it more often than directed. it med is best taken with full glass about water after meal or snack.
Dyphylline Gg side effects: Headache, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nausea, anxiety, irritability or nervousness may occur the 1st some days as youre body adjusts to the tablet. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your healthcare professional. Notify youre physician if you develop: chest pain, fast/irregular heartbeat, rash, vomiting, trouble sleeping, dizziness, flushing, tremors, mental confusion. Notify your healthcare professional if your breathing difficulty continues or worsens. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or pharmacist.
Dyphylline Gg Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), HBP, history of ulcers or seizures, glaucoma, any allergies. Smoking can reduce effects of this drug. Inform your doctor if you smoke before taking it. Limit your intake of caffeine containing products while taking it medication as it can increase risk of side effects. Caffeine is found in coffee, tea, cola, cocoa and chocolate. it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your pharmacist. since small amounts of this tablet found in breast milk, consult you're pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Dyphylline Gg drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: blood pressure medicine, anti-seizure medications, antibiotics, steroids, thyroid hormones, 'water pills' (diuretics). don't start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.
Dyphylline Gg Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, restlessness, irritability, headache, difficulty sleeping, loss of appetite, irregular heart rate, sweating, & seizures.
Dyphylline Gg special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking it medication. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Dyphylline Gg dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take this if It's near time for the following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Dyphylline Gg Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store at bathroom.
