Tobradex Usage: it med is used to treat or prevent eye infections.
How to use Tobradex: for best results, this pill must be used routinely as directed. Continue using it for full time prescribed. Stopping this medication too soon may not clear infection & could possibly result in reinfection. To apply eye drops, wash hands 1'st. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let this touch your eye or any other surface. Shake the eye drops well before using. Tilt you're head back, gaze upward and pull down lower eyelid to make pouch. Place dropper directly over eye and administer prescribed number of drops. see downward and gently close your eye since 1 to 2 minutes. Place one finger at the corner of eye near the nose & apply gentle pressure. this will prevent med from draining away from eye. Try not to blink and do not rub eye. do not rinse dropper. Replace cap after usage. If you are using other kind about eye drop, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.
Tobradex side effects: it drug may temporarily sting your eyes for minute or 2 when you 1-st use it. If stinging persists or becomes bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable after applying eye drops. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify you're healthcare professional if you develop: a skin rash, itching, tears, redness/swelling in or around the eyes, vision problems, eye pain. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.
Tobradex Precautions: Before using this drug tell your healthcare professional: illnesses, (especially any involving eyes), wear contact lenses, eye surgery, infections, any drug allergies. this tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. It's not known if it pill is excreted into breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.
Tobradex drug interactions: Tell you're physician or pharmacist of all other meds you use (prescription & nonprescription) especially any another eye medications you may use. don't start or stop any medicine without physician or physician approval.
Tobradex Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.
Tobradex special notes: youre doctor may require you to take an eye exam to track you're progress or detect any adverse effects of your treatment, especially if you using this for more than 10 days. do not share this medication with others.
If you missed Tobradex dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use this if this is near time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Tobradex Storage: Store upright between 46 to 80 degrees F (8 to 27 degrees C) away from sunlight. Avoid freezing.
