Rhinatate Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Rhinatate: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. this is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this medication, unless youre physician instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, notify your pharmacist. don't increase the dose or take it more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Rhinatate side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss about appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth and nose. These effects should subside as you're body adjusts to the medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform you're healthcare professional. Notify youre physician if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Rhinatate Precautions: Tell your doctor you're medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, drug allergies. dollars this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if this contains PPA or if you are uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding. do not give this med to kid younger than six years of age unless directed to do so by a healthcare professional.
Rhinatate tablet interactions: Tell your doctor what medications you take, especially of: high blood pressure tablets, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy medication. do not take it drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.
Rhinatate Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in kid may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose at adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Rhinatate special notes: do not share this product with others.
If you missed Rhinatate dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Rhinatate Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
