Dyphylline Gg Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Dyphylline acts to widen air passages in lungs to make breathing easier. this combination medication is used to relieve symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis and other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Dyphylline Gg: Take it medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. don't increase your dose or take this more many times than directed. this medication is best taken with full glass about water after meal or snack.
Dyphylline Gg side effects: Headache, stomach upset, loss about appetite, nausea, anxiety, irritability or nervousness may occur 1st some days as your body adjusts to medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Notify your physician if you develop: chest pain, fast/irregular heartbeat, rash, vomiting, trouble sleeping, dizziness, flushing, tremors, mental confusion. Notify your pharmacist if youre breathing difficulty continues or worsens. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or doctor.
Dyphylline Gg Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially about: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), hypertension, history of ulcers or seizures, glaucoma, any allergies. Smoking can reduce the effects of this medication. Inform you're pharmacist if you smoke before taking it. Limit your intake about caffeine containing products while taking this medication as it can increase the risk of side effects. Caffeine is found at coffee, tea, cola, cocoa & chocolate. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks & benefits with your healthcare professional. since small amounts of this drug are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding.
Dyphylline Gg tablet interactions: Tell youre doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: blood pressure medicine, anti-seizure tablets, antibiotics, steroids, thyroid hormones, 'water pills' (diuretics). do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Dyphylline Gg Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, restlessness, irritability, headache, difficulty sleeping, loss of appetite, irregular heart rate, sweating, & seizures.
Dyphylline Gg special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking it drug. it will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Dyphylline Gg dose: If you miss dose, take this as soon as remembered; do not take it if Its near the time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Dyphylline Gg Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. do not store in the bathroom.
