Pse Carbinoxamine DM Usage: Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. Decongestants relieve nasal stuffiness. Antihistamines relieve runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose and throat and itchy, watery eyes. this combination drug is used to treat symptoms associated with the common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.

How to use Pse Carbinoxamine DM: Take this medication as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take it more often than directed. Capsules & long-acting meds must be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. do not crush or chew them. the long action will be destroyed & chance of side effects will be increased. liquid suspension form of this drug must be shaken well before using.

Pse Carbinoxamine DM side effects: Dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, nausea or dry mouth may occur the 1'st several days as your body adjusts to the med. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water or use saliva substitute. To avoid dizziness & lightheadedness when rising from a seated or lying position, get up slowly. Also limit your intake of alcoholic beverages which will aggravate these effects. Notify your physician if you develop any of following effects while using it drug: chest pain, rapid pulse, skin rash, high blood pressure, tremors, nervousness, hallucinations. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Pse Carbinoxamine DM Precautions: Tell you're pharmacist youre medical history, especially of: kidney disease, heart disease, lung disease, asthma, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes, glaucoma, prostate trouble, depression, any allergies. check this product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your doctor promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. this med should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with you're healthcare professional. since small amounts about it medication are found at breast milk, consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Pse Carbinoxamine DM drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription tablet you may take including: blood pressure pill, antidepressants, sedatives, tranquilizers, sleeping pills, MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine), narcotic pain meds (e.g., codeine). Limit you're intake about alcoholic beverages while taking it drug. do not start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or pharmacist approval.

Pse Carbinoxamine DM Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact some your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose may include nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, loss about coordination, slow or shallow breathing, sweating, dizziness, headache, hyperactivity, bizarre behavior, seizures, slow or fast heartbeat, or unconsciousness.

Pse Carbinoxamine DM special notes: Drink plenty about fluids, especially water while taking it medication. it will help to break up mucus and clear congestion.

If you missed Pse Carbinoxamine DM dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume you're usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Pse Carbinoxamine DM Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store at the bathroom.
