Hista Tabs Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining and improve breathing.
How to use Hista Tabs: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking it pill, unless youre pharmacist instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by high fever, notify your doctor. do not increase the dose or take this more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Hista Tabs side effects: may cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects must subside as your body adjusts to drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform you're pharmacist. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in the ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly and be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging at activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact some your physician or doctor.
Hista Tabs Precautions: Tell some your doctor your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, HBP, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, medication allergies. check this product's ingredient list since phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your pharmacist promptly if it contains PPA or if you uncertain it product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. this pill should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. do not give this pill to children younger then six years of age unless directed to do so by a doctor.
Hista Tabs drug interactions: Tell youre doctor what medications you take, especially about: high blood pressure pills, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy medication. do not take it drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or doctor approval.
Hista Tabs Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose in kid may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change at amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Hista Tabs dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for next dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume some your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
