Chlorex a Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes & sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Chlorex: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty of fluids while taking this drug, unless you're healthcare professional instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or are accompanied by a high fever, notify your doctor. do not increase dose or take it more frequently than recommended. the suspension dosage form must be shaken well before each use.
Chlorex a side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects must subside as some your body adjusts to the drug. If they persist or become bothersome, inform you're healthcare professional. Notify your doctor if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing at the ears, difficulty urinating. can cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from a seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.
Chlorex Precautions: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, high blood pressure, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, pill allergies. check this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult you're pharmacist promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. don't drink alcoholic beverages. it tablet should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult you're physician before breast-feeding. do not give this medication to kid younger than 6 years of age unless directed to do so by pharmacist.
Chlorex med interactions: Tell your pharmacist what medications you take, especially of: high blood pressure drugs, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain drug, other cold or allergy med. do not take it med if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. don't start or stop any medicine without pharmacist or doctor approval.
Chlorex Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose in kid may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change in amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.

If you missed Chlorex dose: If you miss a dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Chlorex Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
