Pen Vee K Usage: Penicillins antibiotics used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections.

How to use Pen Vee K: it medication may be taken with out regard to meals. However, absorption is best if medication is taken on an empty stomach (1 hour before or two to 3 hours after meals). Antibiotics work best when amount of medicine in your body is kept at constant level. Do this by taking tablet at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day & night. Continue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after few days. Stopping medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in relapse about infection.

Pen Vee K side effects: this medication may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting during the first several days as you're body adjusts to the drug. If these symptoms persist or become severe, inform youre doctor. Notify youre doctor immediately if an allergic reaction occurs while taking this drug. Symptoms include: difficulty breathing, skin rash, hives, itching. Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're doctor or physician.

Pen Vee K Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have any: other illnesses, allergies (especially to penicillin or another antibiotics). it medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with youre doctor. since small amounts of this medication are found in breast milk, consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

Pen Vee K drug interactions: Tell youre physician of every prescription & nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of tetracycline. this drug may interfere with effectiveness about birth control pills. Discuss using other methods of birth control with your physician. do not start or stop any medicine without healthcare professional or pharmacist approval.

Pen Vee K Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, & diarrhea.

Pen Vee K special notes: it pill has been prescribed for your current condition only. don't use this later since another infection or give this to someone else. a different med may be necessary in those cases.

If you missed Pen Vee K dose: If you should miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered unless it is almost time for next dose. If It's nearly time for the following dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose.

Pen Vee K Storage: Store med at room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. don't store in bathroom.
