Guaifenesin with theophylline - oral

Broncap Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant which helps to loosen mucus. Theophylline acts to widen air passages in lungs to make breathing easier. this combination tablet is used to relieve symptoms associated with common cold, allergies, hay fever, sinusitis & other respiratory illnesses.
How to use Broncap: Take it med as prescribed. Be sure to follow instructions closely. do not increase your dose or take this more many times than directed. it med is best taken with full glass of water after meal or snack. Notify some your doctor if breathing difficulty continues or becomes worse.
Broncap side effects: Headache, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nausea, anxiety, irritability or nervousness may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to medication. If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre doctor. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop: chest pain, fast/irregular heartbeat, skin rash, vomiting, flushing, sleeplessness, dizziness, tremors, mental confusion. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or healthcare professional.
Broncap Precautions: Tell your doctor if you have: kidney problems, heart disease, lung disease (e.g., asthma, emphysema), HBP, ulcers, seizures, glaucoma, allergies. Smoking can reduce effects about this tablet. Inform your doctor if you smoke before taking this. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. since small amounts of this medication found in breast milk, consult your healthcare professional before breast-feeding.
Broncap tablet interactions: Tell some your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take including: blood pressure meds, anti-seizure drugs, antibiotics, steroids, thyroid hormones, water tablets (diuretics), fluvoxamine (an SSRI antidepressant), birth control pills, St John's wort. Limit your intake of caffeine-containing products while taking this drug as it can increase risk of side effects. Caffeine is found in coffee, tea, cola, cocoa and chocolate. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
Broncap Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include headache, vomiting, fast heartbeat, restlessness, & seizures.
Broncap special notes: Drink plenty of fluids, especially water while taking this pill. this will help to break up mucus & clear congestion.
If you missed Broncap dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' dose to catch up.
Broncap Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. do not store in bathroom.
