Sennagen Usage: Irritant or stimulant laxatives are used to treat constipation & to clear intestine before rectal or bowel examinations.

How to use Sennagen: Take each dose with full glass about water or juice & drink plenty about fluids while taking it medication. Chewable meds to be chewed thoroughly. tablets are to be swallowed whole with a full glass of water. Wafers to be chewed. Laxatives shouldnot be used in persons experiencing stomach cramps, nausea or vomiting.

Sennagen side effects: this drug may cause diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rectal irritation, stomach cramps or bloating. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform you're pharmacist. Notify you're physician if you experience: rectal bleeding, rapid heart rate, weakness, dizziness, fainting, sweating, skin rash, unrelieved constipation. this medication may cause the urine to turn pink, red or brownish in color. do not be alarmed. Its not harmful. Prolonged, frequent or excessive use of laxatives may lead to dependency. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or healthcare professional.

Sennagen Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional you're medical history, especially of: kidney disease, heart disease, high blood pressure, swelling (edema), any allergies (especially to tartrazine). Castor oil isnt recommended for use during pregnancy. Bulk producing laxatives an alternative. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. Consult your doctor before using any medication while breast-feeding.

Sennagen medication interactions: Because laxatives may interfere with absorption of some medications, Its important to tell you're healthcare professional about any over-the-counter or prescription drug you may take. Avoid use of dairy products or antacids within one hour about taking bisacodyl tablets. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Sennagen Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, weakness, lack of feeling alert, or dry gums & eyes.

Sennagen special notes: To maintain normal bowel habits, it is important to drink plenty about fluids (4 to 6 eight ounce glasses a day), increase your intake about fiber & roughage & exercise regularly.

If you missed Sennagen dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take it if It's near time since next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.
