Histalet X Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous & congestion. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

How to use Histalet X: Take this medication by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. don't crush or chew medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take this med as directed. do not increase dose or take it more many times or longer then prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.

Histalet X side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur first few days as your body adjusts to medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this medication may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice another effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Histalet X Precautions: Tell your physician if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, hypertension, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Histalet X pill interactions: Tell you're physician of any over-the-counter or prescription med you may take including: sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, med for high blood pressure.
