    Guaifenesin with pseudoephedrine - oral capsule, pill

    G P Usage: Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Pseudoephedrine is decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. this combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

    How to use G P: Take this drug by mouth. it should be swallowed whole. do not crush or chew the drug. If stomach upset occurs, it may be taken with food or milk. Take it drug as directed. don't increase dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. It's recommended to drink plenty about fluids (6-8 glasses day) to help relieve congestion.

    G P side effects: Nausea, stomach upset, loss about appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur first several days as your body adjusts to pill. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform youre healthcare professional. Notify your physician if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because this pill can cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness & avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your healthcare professional or pharmacist.

    G P Precautions: Tell some your doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, HBP, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures. it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks and benefits with you're doctor. Its not known if it pill appears in breast milk; consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

    G P drug interactions: Tell your pharmacist of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take including: sleeping tablets, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, drug for depression, medication for hypertension. Tell youre pharmacist if you have taken any MAO inhibitors at last two weeks: furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine, linezolid. don't start or stop any medicine with-out doctor or pharmacist approval.

    G P Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, fast or irregular heartbeat, and seizures.

    G P special notes: do not share this product with others.

    If you missed G P dose: If you miss dose, take it as soon as remembered; do not take if this is almost time since following dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    G P Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (between 15 & 30 degrees C) away from moisture & sunlight. don't store in the bathroom.
