    Eye lubricant - ophthalmic

    Akwa Tears Usage: this med is used to relieve dry, irritated eyes.

    How to use Akwa Tears: Use this drug in eye as directed. To apply eye ointment/drops: Wash hands first. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch dropper or top of ointment tube or let it touch your eye. Tilt your head back, gaze upward & pull down lower eyelid to make pouch. for drops, place dropper directly over the eye & administer the prescribed number of drops. see downward & gently close your eye for 1 to two minutes. Place one finger at corner about eye near nose & apply gentle pressure. this will prevent tablet from draining away from the eye. for ointment, hold tube directly over the eye and gently squeeze small ribbon of ointment into the eye. Slowly roll youre eye in every directions to spread ointment. Try not to blink and do not rub eye. do not rinse dropper. Wash hands after use. If you are using other eye medicines, wait at least five minutes before applying other medications.

    Akwa Tears side effects: this tablet may temporarily sting you're eyes when 1-st applied. If it continues or becomes bothersome or condition for which this was prescribed does not improve within few days, inform your healthcare professional. Vision may be temporarily unstable for some minutes after applying it. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify your pharmacist if you develop: a skin rash, itching, eye pain or redness in or around the eyes, headache. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your pharmacist or pharmacist.

    Akwa Tears Precautions: Tell some your healthcare professional if you have: other illnesses, any allergies. Tell your doctor if you pregnant before using this tablet. Though, to date, no problems have been noted in nursing infants, consult your doctor before you breast-feed.

    Akwa Tears medication interactions: Tell some your healthcare professional of any over-the-counter or prescription pill you may use, especially about: other eye medication. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Akwa Tears Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Akwa Tears special notes: some products contain preservatives which may cause irritation in persons with allergies or damage soft contact lenses. Discuss various products with your health care professional.

    If you missed Akwa Tears dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; do not use this if Its near the time for following dose, instead, skip missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' the dose to catch up.

    Akwa Tears Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. Discard it if the solution isnot clear or colorless. Close cap tightly after each use.
