    Pramoxine/hydrocortisone - cream, ointment

    Pramosone Usage: Pramoxine is topical anesthetic used on skin to relieve minor pain, itching & discomfort. Hydrocortisone reduces inflammation & itching. this combination medication is used in treatment of certain skin conditions such as eczema, rash, abrasions, insect bites or minor burns.

    How to use Pramosone: this medication is for use on skin only. To apply, clean and dry the affected area as directed. Apply little to skin region & rub in gently. Wash hands thoroughly after use. don't use larger amounts or more much times than prescribed. Avoid contact with the eyes. don't bandage, wrap or cover area treated unless you are instructed to do so by your healthcare professional. Use sparingly on children or elderly persons since they may be more sensitive to the effects of it tablet.

    Pramosone side effects: this medication can cause temporary redness or minor irritation when 1st applied. If these symptoms continue or become worse inform your doctor. Notify your healthcare professional if you develop swelling, itching or rash where pill is applied. Very unlikely to occur but report promptly following side effects: unusual weakness, weight loss, nausea/vomiting, fainting, dizziness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact youre doctor or pharmacist.

    Pramosone Precautions: Tell your healthcare professional your medical history, especially of: blood disorders, infections, liver disease, allergies. Though very unlikely, It's possible this med will be absorbed into youre bloodstream. this may have undesirable consequences that may require additional corticosteroid treatment. this is especially true since children & for those who have used this for an extended period if they also have serious medical problems such as serious infections, injuries or surgeries. this precaution applies since up to one year after stopping use of this medication. Consult your doctor or pharmacist for more details. it medication must be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor. It's not known if this tablet is found at breast milk. Consult your pharmacist before breast-feeding.

    Pramosone drug interactions: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may use, including: other skin products. don't start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

    Pramosone Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. this medicine may be harmful if swallowed.

    Pramosone special notes: Use this only since the condition for which this was prescribed. If condition does not improve or becomes worse after several days, notify some your physician. Inform every your physicians you use (or have used) this pill. don't share it medication with others.

    If you missed Pramosone dose: If you miss dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not use it if it is near clock for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

    Pramosone Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. dollars expiration date on tube & discard any expired medication.
