Pentrax Gold Usage: Coal tar shampoo is used to treat itching & skin flaking/irritation caused by certain skin conditions of head and scalp (e.g., dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis).

How to use Pentrax Gold: Apply this medication onto hair & scalp usually twice weekly; or as directed by your doctor. Shake bottle well before each application/shampoo. Wet your hair thoroughly with water & rub shampoo in to lather on you're hair and scalp. Rinse your hair well with water and repeat. this medicated shampoo is for use on scalp and hair only. do not use if you have open skin (e.g., sores/wounds) on your scalp. Avoid getting any about this shampoo in your eyes. If eye contact occurs, rinse youre eyes thoroughly with water. If eye irritation persists or worsens, contact your doctor promptly. Avoid getting any about this shampoo on some your clothes. this product may stain youre clothing.

Pentrax Gold side effects: Minor skin/scalp irritation or darkened/stained skin may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your pharmacist promptly. Tell your doctor immediately if any about these serious side effects occur: large and/or painful skin sores/pimples on scalp. An allergic reaction to this product is unlikely, but seek immediate healthcare attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Pentrax Gold Precautions: Tell your pharmacist your medical history, especially of: other skin conditions, any allergies. this drug may make you more sensitive to sun. Avoid prolonged sun exposure or wear protective clothing or hat when outdoors. Tell your doctor if you pregnant before using this medicated shampoo. It's unknown if this drug passes into breast milk. Consult you're healthcare professional before breast-feeding.

Pentrax Gold medication interactions: Tell your healthcare professional of every prescription & nonprescription medication you may use, especially: other medicated shampoos or topical products. do not start or stop any medicine without physician or pharmacist approval.

Pentrax Gold Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. it product may be harmful if swallowed.

Pentrax Gold special notes: do not share this product with others.

If you missed Pentrax Gold dose: If you miss dose, use it as soon as you remember. If It's near the time of next dose, skip the missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. do not double dose to catch up.

Pentrax Gold Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from light & moisture.
