Histalet Usage: Antihistamines provide relief of symptoms of allergies such as rash, hives, watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing. Decongestants relieve congestion, promote sinus draining & improve breathing.
How to use Histalet: May be taken with food or milk to prevent stomach upset. it is recommended to drink plenty about fluids while taking this drug, unless your pharmacist instructs you otherwise. If symptoms do not improve after 7 days or accompanied by a high fever, notify youre doctor. do not increase the dose or take it more frequently than recommended. suspension dosage form should be shaken well before each use.
Histalet side effects: can cause drowsiness, dizziness, headache, loss of appetite, stomach upset, blurred vision, restlessness, irritability & dry mouth & nose. These effects should subside as you're body adjusts to medication. If they persist or become bothersome, inform youre pharmacist. Notify you're physician if you develop: breathing difficulties, heart pounding, irregular heartbeat, chest pain, ringing in ears, difficulty urinating. may cause dizziness especially when rising quickly from seated or lying position. Change positions slowly & be careful on stairs. Use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your physician or doctor.
Histalet Precautions: Tell you're doctor your medical history, especially about: asthma, glaucoma, ulcers, difficulty urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland, heart disease, HBP, seizures, an overactive thyroid gland, medication allergies. cash this product's ingredient list for phenylpropanolamine (PPA). the FDA has issued warnings regarding PPA side effects. Consult your doctor promptly if this contains PPA or if you uncertain this product has PPA. do not drink alcoholic beverages. this drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Consult you're healthcare professional before breast-feeding. do not give this pill to a children younger than six years of age unless directed to do so by physician.
Histalet drug interactions: Tell youre doctor what drugs you take, especially of: HBP drugs, anti-seizure drugs, antidepressants, sleeping pills, sedatives, tranquilizers, muscle relaxants, narcotic pain medication, another cold or allergy drug. don't take this drug if you have taken an MAO inhibitor (e.g., furazolidone, linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) within the last two weeks. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or doctor approval.
Histalet Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms about overdose at child may include dizziness, nausea/vomiting, abnormal eye movements, flushed face, dry mouth, change at amount of urine, fever, excitation, agitation, unconsciousness, bizarre behavior, confusion, restlessness, irritability, delirium, twitching, tiredness, abnormal tongue movement, trembling extremities, slurred speech, or seizures. Symptoms of overdose in adults may include nausea/vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, or unconsciousness, which may be followed by excitement or seizures.
Histalet special notes: do not share it product with others.
If you missed Histalet dose: If you miss dose, take as soon as remembered; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose & resume you're usual dosing schedule. don't 'double-up' the dose to catch up.
Histalet Storage: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
