Ak Trol Usage: this medication is used to treat eye infections.

How to use Ak Trol: since best effects, this med must be used as directed. Continue using it for full time prescribed. Stopping it medication too soon may not clear the infection & could possibly result in reinfection. Apply eye ointment to affected eyes as follows: Wash hands 1'st. To avoid contamination, be careful not to touch the tube tip or let it touch youre eye. Rolling the ointment tube in you're hands since minute will make the ointment flow easier. Tilt your head back, gaze upward and pull down lower eyelid to make a pouch. Place 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ointment into the pouch by squeezing the tube gently. Close eye & roll the eyeball in all directions to spread the medication. Try not to blink & do not rub eye. Wipe the tip about the ointment tube with a tissue to remove excess medication before capping this. If you using an eye drop in addition to it medication, apply eye drops 1st & wait in least five minutes before applying this eye ointment. If you are using another type of eye ointment, wait at least ten minutes after using this pill before applying this.

Ak Trol side effects: this drug may temporarily sting or burn your eyes for minute or two when first applied. If this continues or becomes bothersome, inform your pharmacist. Vision may be temporarily blurred or unstable for a period after applying eye ointment. Use caution if driving or performing duties requiring clear vision. Notify youre physician immediately if you develop: skin rash, itching/burning/redness/pain/swelling in or around the eyes, vision problems. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact you're healthcare professional or pharmacist.

Ak Trol Precautions: Tell some your doctor if you have: another eye problems, allergies (especially to any antibiotics or sulfites). it drug should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy or while breast-feeding. Discuss risks & benefits with your doctor.

Ak Trol drug interactions: Tell you're doctor about any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take. do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

Ak Trol Overdose: If overdose is suspected, contact youre local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

Ak Trol special notes: If condition for which this was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after some days, consult your doctor.

If you missed Ak Trol dose: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as remembered; don't use this if It's near time for the next dose, instead, skip missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. do not 'double-up' dose to catch up.

Ak Trol Storage: Store at room temperature between 59 & 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat & light. check the expiration date on the tube & discard any expired tablet.
